Fantastic Abhinav,
Undoubtedly a fantastic achievement by any standard. It’s a great day for the Indian Nation.
If the cricketers can get a motorcade welcome for their 20-20 win, Bindra should get a royal gold chariot’s welcome as soon as he lands in India as his achievement is far far ahead of what the Indian Cricketer’s did.
The whole nation should get up and salute this young handsome lad. Kudos to his family who stood by him and finally brilliant performance in the final round. ‘Bingo’ and ‘Bulls-Eye’
Padma Bhushan and Bharat Ratnas are only just few days away.
we salute for keeping the Indian flag flyiing high at Beijing, China, 2008
Warm regards,
Guruprasad, Scientist, NAL, Bangalore

I cried that day when P T Usha won gold in Asiad and the tricolour was on the top . Today, 11/8/2008 ,will be remembered by every Indian as the red letter day in the history of Indian sports /Olympics.
Thank you Mr Bindra for reminding me that day and creating history in the Olympics 2008.

Hi Abhinav,
I was always proud to be an Indian and you just added one more feather to it.
I was looking at your face to see a single spark of excitement when you won the gold, but i failed. You were so calm and cool, as if it was destined for you. Anyway, congratulations for all you did for yourself, for your family and last but most importantly for your country.
Thank you so much…
take care
